Jerome Gilmer wrote this song a number of years ago and spent a long time refining and polishing it for this release. He chose Lannie Counts, an amazing singer who's heart and talent are so apparent in this cut, to deliver the inspiring vocal. Jerome is a composer and producer in Denver, Colorado with a long history of writing a very diverse catalog of music for all kinds of applications including TV and film scoring. Lannie is prominent Las Vegas singer and the two met while working on projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. We hope this is the first in a series of successful collaborations between the two.

The piece also features the sax stylings of the formidable Nelson Rangell, an internationally prominent musician who makes Denver his home base. Friends Terry Miller, Jerry Lopez and Christian Teele round out the band contributing great performances on bass, guitar and drums. Says Gilmer, "These guys are among the greatest musicians I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and they really brought this piece to life. For me, it's an unqualified success."
