On October 29th, 2012 Hurricane Superstorm Sandy made landfall on the East Coast of the U.S.

It affected millions of Americans for days with it's unprecedented power and destructive force. In many ways it was the "perfect storm" that left the East Coast in total darkness for days. The rebuilding has begun but the long term effects and challenges are still unfolding. This song is a tribute to the proud and resilient American people that have endured many natural and unnatural disasters and pick themselves up, dust themselves off, roll up their sleeves and face their new reality with steely determination.
