A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jimmie began performing with local recording artists on Bourbon Street in the 50's. Following classical studies at the Houston Conservatory of Music he toured from California to Florida with "Show Bands" and appeared in concert at The Hollywood Palladium with the rock band 'Bluesberry Jam'. After 'held over' engagements at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas and a highly successful appearance as an actor in "Jesus Christ Superstar," he traveled the southeast states with country and rock bands. In 1983 he and his wife Robin and their two children built a home in Roanoke Virginia, and Jimmie started a career in the hotel and resort industry. He and his Trio were the featured artist at The Hotel Roanoke from 1995 to 2010.
