My name is Judy Nee Lagomarsino but I am known to thousands of families in the San Francisco Bay Area as “Miss KItty”.When I Moved to Marin County from Redondo Beach (where I sang for many years with The Punch and Judy Show and The Pacific Snow Band)I got married and had a baby boy. So began my career in children’s music. “Just Because You’re You” is my first collection of songs inspired by my son and the things we paid attention to the first few years of his life. Though written almost twenty years ago this remains one of my most popular CDs.The timeless themes: friends, bath time, owies, new baby in the family, ,peanut butter, make believe, mermaids, fairies and dinosaurs make this a favorite with children from birth to six years of age.My producer, Jim Rothermel, is a world class jazz musician and his fine saxophone, clarinet, recorder and harmonica offerings make this CD famous for being “adult friendly”. Many moms, dads and grand parents have confessed to playing this CD even when the kids aren’t in the car!! It is gentle, positive, good sounding fun.
