This album was recorded one year after Scott Dunbar hit the road from his hometown Prince George, BC, to take his music out into the world. Hitchiking up to Dawson City, Yukon, he ended up playing an impromptu acoustic set at the Dawson City Music Festival for the muddy revelers in the beer garden. Further unscheduled performances including at Artswells and Robson Valley Music festivals in BC over the summer convinced Dunbar to take things further. He hitched his way out to Montréal, Qc, and took his music to the streets, finding many concert and private party bookings along the way. In the spring of 2009 he started playing an old squeezebox. Philosophies of a Moth Vol. 2 is the document and the sound of this story.
