"The Passage" is the debut album of Rory James and The Majestic. It is an alternative approach of folk music in America with overtones familiar with Dylan, Nick Drake and Bon Iver. It is an active escape of city life with wild expression of solitude having been written in remote places such as rural Costa Rica and a Pacific coastal location near Homer, AK. These songs are rich in texture and have a timless quality to them that can rarely be found in modern music; built with familiarity yet entirely new presence.
