‘play’ is the second album by the Dan White Sextet and the first album to revolve around a concept. The recording consists of eleven original arrangements of children’s tunes, lullabies, and folk songs. The album spans a wide range of genres from soul to rock and even hip-hop. While the songs of the album can relate to a younger audience, the creativity of the arrangements make this album enjoyable for music listeners of all ages.
