Twisted Roots have been performing on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State for the last 6 years. The group consists of Marty Kaler, Marilyn Kaler, Leo Bidne and Bob Lawrence-Markarian. They delight in sharing familiar tunes as well as originals that sound familiar. You might hear a traditional bluegrass or Western Swing tune followed by a Beatles song. And they really like to twist it up by using unusual instrument combinations such as ukulele, dobro, banjo and lap steel guitar. They describe their music as “Boomer friendly acoustic music – with a twist.” TWISTED ROOTS has a CD called “Coming Home” and a second CD “Johnny Forget Me Not” just released in May 2017.
