Good Principle has been in love with music for as long as he can remember. As a young boy sitting under one of the many fruit trees at home in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, he recalls his uncle Mop Mop blaring Bob Marley tunes in the early afternoon. Singing along with each song word for word, it is fair to say that this is where Principle's passion for the art was ignited. Principle's homegrown Jamaican experience of reggae music, along with his love for hip hop which developed during his college years in upstate New York, helped to mold his unique brand of music. He compliments his gift of writing soulful lovers rock reggae tunes with an unmatched ability to deliver relevant rap lyrics with exquisite clarity. Principle showcases this talent on tracks like "Chemistry", and "Incomplete" which are featured on his third album entitled "Glad I Listened". This along with his debut album "That's What's Up" and his sophomore project " Fairy Tale Love" are all available on ITunes and all other major internet music stores. After years of grooming his unique style and craft, Good Principle is now ready for the mainstream. In March 2014 his songs have been featured on compilation dancehall releases, by Jamaica based Goldmine Productions and GMC Productions. These releases are are also available on ITunes and feature songs by Good Principle alongside artists such as Beenie Man, Sizzla, Anthony B, and Mad Cobra, just to name a few. Principle is optimistic about the future of his influence in reggae music. He has a vibe that has to be acknowledged, a voice that demands to be listened to, and a sound that needs to be heard.
