This is my third album. The songs come from many places. Several are love songs to my wife, Heba. One is for my Mother, a famous artist (Barbara A. Wood) who is now paralyzed from a car accident. "The Painter" is my tribute to her. Another is for a young woman (Gloria Borges) who died at age 32 from Colon Cancer. "Remembering Gloria" is my expression of admiration for the strength, guts and grace with which she fought this horrible disease. Two songs were put on the album so that I could make it a family affair: My wonderful daughter, Piper, who spends her days rescuing dogs from shelters and finding them homes, chose the John Legend song, "All of Me". My courageous son, Zack, who is Autistic, chose a song written by Steve Feldman who is his therapist. "Corner of the Bar" is a gem. My songwriting has been strongly influenced by Elton John, Cat Stevens and Billy Joel. I feel that my melodies honestly deliver on the lyrics, whether my own or those of my two co-writers, John Kayden and Neil Scanlan. I hope you enjoy my music as it takes the listener on a journey through many aspects of life. Thank you, Greg
