Mother Mary Mood is an rock/alternative rock band of five guys from Italy relocating to Southern California, a band not to be taken lightly both in sound and in attitude. Mixing the sound of the hard rock with new alternative rock influences, brothers Lorenzo and Filippo Spano with Marco Formosa, Alessandro Beltrame and Marco Mantini have created a real rock sound that is heavy without alienating the general music fan, while able to slow it down. They are able to create a dynamic rock that is not often seen, and is a testament to their songwriting talent. What makes this band a great rock band is the listener can listen to one sound after another without being bored, and without them straying from their identity. With songs you can had bang to, sing along with, and feel through, Mother Mary Mood is a band with talent not too often seen in this era of rock. The listener can tell that the songs have always an elliptical message between the lines with the intention to instil a subtle dubt on the main dogmas of our society. Listening Mother Mary Mood means to question many of the absolute certainties in which we believe, it means to open our mind to a new level of awareness. In 2011 Mother Mary Mood have been selected from Sony Music as one of the ten finalist bands of the Rock in IdRHO contest to open the Foo Fighters concert in Milan. In 2014 Mother Mary Mood are setting new plans to play several shows and promote their new album "Awekening" across the United States and around the world.
