This is my journey back to music. In 2012 I started, out of the blue, to write poetry. But this poetry came with a tune in my head. And I thought, am I writing songs? I started singing as soon as I could talk, but I never wrote songs. And eventually I stopped singing altogether except for the times I felt most free (in the car belting along with Beyonce & Rihanna). So here I am with this song and a friend asks me, why don't you record it? I laughed at her and then paused to think - why not? That one question led me on a magical journey to find my incredible producer and 3 years later we have produced "Love Just Is". I am excited to share my stories, my joys & my fears - all of which are woven through this album.
