Salaamata in some African languages means 'Peace'. The emotions that are felt from peace can include silent contentment, however it can also evoke a sense of uncertainty. Salaamata captures those feelings building up to a finale that offers the listener to reflect on their own interpretation of what 'peace' means to them.

Stripper is a song about one's fantasy towards the unattainable. 'Watch the seasons make the change but you and I remain the same, this dream I hope will never end, and if it does we'll just pretend.' We want what we can't have, and if we can't have it, there's nothing wrong with pretending...just for a little while.
