Mark Zeus is a veteran singer-songwriter with a number of award-winning songs and albums. Bridging the Gap is one of those. All the tracks from that '95 release, and a whole lot more, are included in this extended Legacy Edition. The lead song, "Between the Cradle and the Grave", is a recent favorite of many fans, and has finally been recorded. "Insecure Treasures" is a recent rerecording of a Zeus classic from '90. All cuts have been remastered. The themes on this album range from the rites of passage to satirical political commentary to hopeful awakenings. The styles are just as diverse, taking you from Folk litanies through fun Country to Epic Rock and Roll. Although the diversity is evident there is a cohesive sound that binds this album together, as the title defines, Bridging the Gap.
