James Freeman is a man of God. He has been saved since the tender age of 8, filled with the Holy Ghost at 10 and have been walking with the Father ever since. James has had the awesome opportunity to work musically with some of the finest musical talents in Pittsburgh, Howard "Buddy" Lakins, Trini Massie, Apostle Gerald G. Loyd, and Duane Youngblood. His musical influences are The Winans, Fred Hammond, Commissioned, Darly Cooley, John P. Kee, Fred Hammond & RFC, and Isreal & New Breed. In addition to his love for music James is a studious individual with the following educational accomplishments, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s Degree from Washington and Jefferson College in Psychology and Religion. James advocates for the "peace" safety and well-being of families and children in several different arenas: as an in home service worker, foster care caseworker, trainer, mental health coordinator, social work administrator, and non profit senior executive. All of these experiences have helped to provide a holistic view of how families operate and function under different circumstances. This has lead to his belied that "Everyone needs to know about Jesus and His love for us and what His death give us access to..." James is very active in his church activities. He serves as an Elder and works closely with the church leadership training and development team. His love of singing and worship to God keeps James close to the churches music ministry. James is over the praise and worship team and works with the church choir. James has currently launched a faith based & human services consulting company from which he promotes both his book and CD. The book is entitled Even as the Soul Prospers: The Journey of Worshippers (copies are available at www.jtf95.com, amazon, & www.cushcity.com)he has recently been named on of 10 finalist for Best new author on Cushcity best new author list. James is very concerned with the rapidly changing culture and its effect on services provided to poor families and children both in the secular world and in the Christian community. His goal is to continue to provide resources and services that encourage, empower and engage commitment to quality services both in the church and in the community. "We must teach people the hear the voice of God for themselves... strengthening the personal relationship and the believer's abilty to know who they are in Christ as sons with "Kingdom Authority!" James is a family man. He is married to Lachelle C. Freeman and the father of two children, Joshua and Madison Freeman.
