I started making music as a little girl beginning with my or grandpa, my greatest music inspiration, who asked me to pick up a guitar. I began with learning simple covers though continued to composing my own songs to sing to him after dinners. I eventually lost him to Pancreatic Cancer and devoted my career to my own passion and making him proud. It was this time of loss in my life where I really discovered who I am as an artist and developed my own style. I attend Texas State University and major in Sound Recording Technology where I continue to expand on my knowledge of music production. My music is influenced by so many different styles and artists I have grown up listening to, though I generally tend to incorporate Hip Hop into my percussive decisions. My lyrics are of course inspired by my own life experiences and one of my favorite parts of creating since I love playing with words. I love all the different ways one can convey a message and the different techniques and literally devices used to keep the listener intrigued. I'd like to say I'm a nerd and very happy being so.
