Jean and I have just begun as the duo,"Black Whydah". On "AR-R-R!", we've taken our favorite Irish fiddle tunes and have had some "non-traditional" fun.

You'll hear touches of Steeleye Span and Fairport Convention; maybe a bit of Jethro Tull, too. Above it all, if you're familiar with my other albums, you'll find lot's of John Best lurking about as well. If the instrument has strings, it's somewhere on the album. Many Irish instruments of all types appear and all weave in and out of tasteful synthesizer tracks. As with all my albums, you will never be able to figure where the music is going to next. Several tracks aren't exactly....Irish but it's the thought that counts. Above all else, this album is FUN! It will leave you tapping your feet and smiling throughout.
