Richard "Che" Murphy was born and raised in Detroit MI, like most inner city youth he spent most of his childhood without a father figure and was forced to look up to the negative role models his neighborhood provided. By doing so, he found himself on a road that would lead to prison or death. His mother sent him to Port Huron MI, hoping the small town would slow him down, but it didn't, he continued to find trouble and a few close calls with death, but when JESUS CHRIST saved his life and called him to reach the youth he founded "GodFolk" and began reaching out to young people through Gospel Rap and other forms of ministry.
