Scott Bailey - Guitar/Vocals Cory Clark - Bass/Vocals Milton Hein - Guitars Brandon Malvaso - Drums/Percussion Looking back to a mere 3 years now of playing continuous shows, recording and more importantly keeping up on the business side of things, Filmore has accomplished what many artist find in nearly a decades time. But to say accomplishment more effectively in a meaning not taken the wrong way, they’ve only just graduated high school and have successfully taken their music from their hometown just south of Washington D.C. to along the entire east coast of the United States and are now working with well-known music producer/engineer, Jamie Cerniglia(Brian Setzer, Robbie Robertson, the Smashing Pumpkins, etc.) of Los Angeles. Call it a chance of a lifetime but, the moment where each of them have met to Milton and Cory having relations back to a time where they were in diapers. Its nothing less than fate when after 14 years you meet that same person again he shares the same feelings as not only you, but two other good friends and all have the same directions for their music. But each of them has their own capabilities that seem to strive in their music so much that works off one another to make one emaculent style of music and songs. Filmore has grown through the years and with that have evolved their music to what I could never describe simply or categorize. An alternative, yet modern sounding rock on the lines of blink 182. If you were to take The Cure(Robert Smith) and mix that with modern rock music, that’s the mix you’d get. It’s definitely revolutionary to music and something not to be missed. The band is now working each day with practice, writing, and computer work to take care of any business to make sure that things go to plan and that their songs are performed the way the envision them. It’s hard work everyday and they strive just to keep their lives sane with that and working regular jobs to pay for the things they wish to accomplish. But with that they do it all for one thing. “It’s like any other dream a child has as they’re growing up. This one stuck though and can’t be erased from our minds. We look at it in a way that we listen and saw all our favorite artists perform. We saw how those people wrote songs and then go out and perform them at huge arenas or on tv or radio and saw how it effects people’s lives. Music is so necessary it’s like breathing or eating; We just want to make sure that when you do from our point of view, you eat the filet minon of music. Take our songs and listen in your bedroom late at night or in your car as you drive throughout the large cites or small towns you live in. Picture all the pain you have gone through or troubles you’ve experienced or even how you should of went in for that kiss or how you said the wrong words. Time is precious. Make something of what you have and were put here to do and most importantly, believe.
