I am a Singer/Songwriter from Southern California that writes faith-based, inspirational-fight songs. My genre could be described as Modern-rock, acoustic-pop, Inspirational-Gospel. I have a wide range of musical influences from Guns & Roses, The Dave Matthews Band, Imagine Dragons, Delirious, Switchfoot, Bethal Music, John Mayer, Lincoln Brewster...to name a few. ​ This "Learning to Fly" album is surely some of my best writing and recording to date! I have allowed myself to be more transparent in my writing than ever before and got to experiment with a more "Pop" sound while working with Justin Stewart in studio. This music was so refreshing to create and I know that you as the listener will be encouraged and compelled by the outcome. The album title is very intentional as it is captures the "heart" of these 6 songs. "Learning to Fly"... It's happens when we deciede that our struggles, our fights and our fears will not be the force that breaks us, but the one thing that can truly shape us into strong, loving, humble and compassionate people. Most of these songs were written with this heart as I was going through a really difficult season of life. I was questioning everything...My faith, my future and all that I felt called to do. But, I refuse to give up! In life, some of the greatest people that we will ever meet will be people who have endured some of the greatest tragedies. My hope is that in some way this music would help you to stay encouraged as you live out your life and fight the good fight... It's where we learn to fly! I had the privilage of working with a great up-and-coming producer (Justin Stewart) on this project. I knew from the start that we were going to make some "great music". Thank you Justin for all your hard work, creativity and leadership on this record. Both Justin and I also had the privilage of working with Steve Dierkens at "Studio D" for the Mixing/Mastering of some of these tracks. We are so grateful to have had him give into this project. We also had two great musicians give to this project, Dan Vanda and Joe Garate; what a privilege. Thank you all!
