2ba 2unes was conceived out of a desire to share a wealth of music with the tuba community that is either new or relatively unknown. In addition, while playing duets is not foreign to most tuba players, fi nding serious, well-conceived music to perform can be a challenge. In this recording, Dr. Gallion and Dr. Skillen present ten engaging concert works for two tubas, with some works accompanied by percussion, piano, and even narrator. Included in the collection are a variety of styles, time periods, and genres.
