Born in Winnipeg, Sketch has had music in his life since day one. At age 11 he won the first of two consecutive national composer competitions during Canada Music Week sponsored by the Canadian Teachers Federation. These two submissions are among hundreds of pieces written by Sketch in various musical styles ranging from orchestral arrangements for various instruments, to hip-hop beats. By age 15 he had hooked up with Grammy and Juno nominee Fresh I.E. to start his debut EP Portrait of a Poet.

Sketch has also been in the finals of the International Model search and has performed at venues in Winnipeg and Regina, including the Red River Ex, The Teddy Bears' Picnic, The International Friendship Festival, and the Centennial Concert Hall's Piano Noble.

Acting credits include the character role "Tyler" in Falcon Beach the Movie and Falcon Beach the television series broadcast on the Global television network in Canada, and coming soon to ABC Family in the United States.
