Piyush Awasthi... with releases on Baroque, Whose Haus and Balkan Connection Piyush is no stranger to the Progressive scene. Born in Delhi, India he had a passion for Progressive House very early on and now with his first release on Indigo Records we welcome this talented Producer to our Label. His track entitled 'Resembles Me' is quite a Dark and brooding number with lots of sweeping pads and plucky synths, dark basslines and and great percussive elements which all makes for one great piece of Dark and Wonderful Prog House. On remix duties are Terry da Libra first up with one damn fine Melodic interpretation of Piyush's track, terry has stripped the original back and given it new life as a Summer Anthem for 2011, his amazing clean crisp pads, wonderful percussive elements and great use of that shaker that just seems to follow you round the room is quite special. All this leads you gently into the great synth line tempting you and leading you into a magical breakdown where he builds up and teases you with a myriad of rich textures and elements which then drops back perfectly into his stellar remix. Lastly is the Dylbert remix and again he hits the nail on the head in terms of giving this release everything it needs to satisfy any dancefloor, his more laidback remix with rolling basslines and synths just comes together in a fine example of his Production skills. His take of the original is more simplistic yet also uses sweeping pads and gentle builds to create a great atmosphere the whole way thru his remix leading into an Amazing breakdown with great Melodic sweeps and subtle synth touches filling in the background.
