David was born in Bogota, Colombia. He is a PK; therefore, he grew up in the church. At 15 years old, he moved with his parents and sister to the United States. Music has been rooted in David's life beginning at a very young age. It became his outlet after his family suffered the tragic loss of his baby brother, when David was five. As a teenager, David taught himself how to play the drums. In 2007 he studied music at Instituto CanZion (ICZ) en Tampa, FL, for two years. After completion he became a teacher at ICZ, and directed their band, Reforma. Worship is more than just music for David, it is an outer expression of our inner relationship with God.
