Usually the remix comes AFTER the original, right? Well not this time. The official album version of "Timewave Zero" that first appeared on Faded Paper Figures' 2017 EP "Chronos" was in fact a reworking of what is now being released as the "Retro Remix." Yes, in this case the "remix" is actually the original. It was by pure luck that FPF came upon the talents of Paramedique and Constellation Lyra. Both had reached out to FPF and expressed an interest in remixing "Timewave Zero" and both had coincidentally chosen to take a retro approach to it.
