Celeste is a first generation singer/artist from USA with French & Hungarian lineage. Rokuro resides in UK (and Japan based) he has been a DJ/Producer in the edm scene for years with other aliases. He shares his ideas via the web with PGX - Paul Grundman , or conversely Celeste. PGX produces her vocals and the USA part of this group writes lyrically. They always collaborate on finished songs and sometimes hand off parts to each other. Celeste has been in the pop/r&b/dance scene for some time but her musical background is so vast, she could be belting out Aretha Franklin songs (her biggest influence) turning heads at a karaoke night or writing an award winning song like Angel ( found on the Angel EP) this song along with others have won multiple awards from Unisong Intl, Malibu Music Awards, Song Of The Year. But that's boring. What you want to know is if this is worth your time to read any further and the bottom line is: We are the people's group. We are always interacting and trying to connect with people and when we put a song out, it's always felt with every fiber of our hearts. If we don't get chills, tears, or inspired from our truth we are sharing, it doesn't get put out. The EDM world is our world. Celeste was signed in the pop world but the collapse of the record industry made it all very difficult at the time, so many restrictions and image manipulation, she couldn't bear not being herself. It turns out the fans are more interested in who she really is, not what the major labels think she should be. It's easy to write about how much of a pure inspiration she can be because she's never trying to throw a diva attitude, but when she is singing, your attention is grabbed. She can be so under-cover as heard on some of the trancier tunes, but then throw down like the best. Frankly, this writer is not interested in trying to sell Celeste & Rokuro (with PGX) because the music shall do that for you. Thank You
