简介
Gustav Holst's two Suites for the Military Band have always been basic serious 20th Century band music. Bach's Fantasia in G is ideally suited to the sonority and performance resources of today's large wind band. The Music for the Royal Fireworks is all that survives from what must have been a carefully planned London festive occasion in 1748 to celebrate the Peace of Aix-La-Chapelle.
