After successfully co-founding Elevation Audio, now Lewis lays down his own blueprint for the label. Optimism is his debut track, the benchmark for all future releases. The pace builds slowly, new elements get layered in as the dark beginning gives way to the anthemic breakdown at the midpoint. The anticipation for the drop is held for as long as possible, almost teasing us, but the wait is worthwhile as the powerhouse bass drives out. Some tracks bring them a visualisation. With just one listen it's easy to see a mainroom, sardined trance fans sweating, arms aloft as Optimism causes mayhem. It certainly is a special start for the label boss, and a really clear line that his label mates will have to toe. Good luck to them all.
