简介
Izetta was born in Hawthorne, California and now resides in Anaheim,CA. At the age of seven she began singing in church choirs and traveling the U.S. and abroad with her father, the Reverend Raymond Taylor. He preached, she sang, and together they ministered the gift of Christ to many. Izetta sang in Glee Clubs from elementary to High School where she discovered how much she enjoyed performing for audiences. During these years she also realized other God given skills and abilities such as writing music and promoting talent. In the early nineties she exhibited exceptional organizational skills forming a girl singing group with some of her neighbor friends. She appropriately named the group Izetta & Company. As the group's leader and acting agent, she booked performances at local talent shows, variety shows, and churches. Demonstrating exceptional singing ability and extraordinary professionalism for their age, the group often took the first place prize in many of the talent contest they entered. Later the group began performing in night spots in the greater Los Angeles area where after a show stopping audition they landed a steady gig at a well known Hollywood spot called Carlos and Charles. Izetta continued to grow as a singer/songwriter and enrolled in Long Beach City College where she studied music. She also increased her knowledge of the music business adding course work to her curriculum that included Advanced Voice, Record Production, Commercial Songwriting, and Radio/Television Production. She continued her formal education graduating from the career Management Institute of Orange, California where she majored in Marketing & Advertisement. Izetta is currently the Executive Producer and host of her own radio show called "Artist Preview", airing on station KTYM 1460 AM. On her show she featured interviews with such mega-stars as Whitney Houston, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams and Destiny's Child. Her own music is aired regularly on the station and has been played on 92.3 The Beat, and KJLH 102.3 FM, two other popular Los Angeles stations. Her music business knowledge and marketing & promotion skills afforded her the opportunity to join forces with Roger & Cowen a prestigious public relations firm that she assisted for three years in promoting the "Soul Train Music Awards". Additional experience and accomplishments include internships with Arista Records, and radio station KJLH 102.3 FM, and Morning Show Co-host and Assistant Music Program Director for the Long Beach City College radio station.
