Every year, at the beginning of December, the Queen's Hall in Port of Spain, Trinidad is packed out for several nights for The Marionettes Chorale's Christmas concert. The programme includes sacred music, gospel or spirituals, carols, and choral arrangements of local pan or parang music. Marionettes concerts feature both the senior and junior choirs, separately and together, in a cast of up to 150, with an array of fine soloists and a wide repertoire and always with a local, Caribbean component to the programme.
