This album is a community fundraising venture by the Jiggi School of Arts in Northern New South Wales, Australia. All songs are written and performed by local residents. The funds from this venture will be used to repair and maintain our 104 year old community hall and the community preschool attached to it. Jiggi Valley has a population of around 300 people, with an eclectic mix of farmers, green workers and professionals. The music on this album reflects the community mix. It ranges across many styles, from rock to Celtic folk, from blues to pop. The album includes songs performed by children from the local public school and the community preschool.
