The rhythmical cumbia's lyrics are an outpouring of love of one man for a woman and his determination to wait for her until the end of time. The song was produced by International Super Producer A.B. Quintanilla III and Multi-Grammy Award winning Gilbert Velasquez. Quintanilla also co-wrote the song with Ricky Vela.

"Esperandote" is the second track from his upcoming CD which will be his first project with VMB Music Group since signing with the San Antonio record label.
