Something a little less formulaic than the tradional album of songs, tracks being cut off and incepted in innovative ways to allow them to flow together as chapters.

Porl displays his usual off beat timing and all round ability, banging out beats&rhymes and both sample and synth based melody lines. Full of funk and poetically gifted, his love of the helium vocals is to the fore on this set as he ranges from braggadoccio to lovelorn and stays away from the political and spiritual topics he hits on other solo works.

This is a concept album by Porl B using leftover beats and clips, extending them and adding synth lines where necessary to create songs and at other times leaving them as interludes. The album was also recorded over the top of a live jam between Porl and Kid Mercury, with some of those jams seeping through the gaps between Porl's solo tracks.

Recommended either for driving on the motorway or as an alternative to late evening herbal remedies.
