I wrote this song when one of my best friends' mother commit suicide. Not being the best with spoken words, I wanted to let her know that I'd be there for her and called upon one of our most special memories. In the town where I'm from, there's a big parking garage. Whenever someone was down, my group of friends would get slurpees from 7-11 and drive to the top of the garage, just talking about what was bothering us. No matter what, we always left with lighter shoulders. I knew I couldn't fix anything, but letting my dear friend know that I was there for her with open ears was my goal in writing this song. Despite the sadness that spurred it's creation, Parking Garage exists to remind people of the love in their life.
