This debut E.P. is a mixture of Country and Americana, mixed with undertones of Southern Rock, all tying back to Hunter's beginnings and the influences he's received from various artists in his young career. In October 2014, Hunter received "Runner Up" placement from Song of The Year for "Tuned Up" which is only awarded to top songwriters throughout the country. In February of 2015, he followed that up with a Semi-Finalist placement in the ISRC song writers competition for "I'll Be The South." Aside from representing his roots, these songs are an indication of the direction he hopes to pursue as a singer-songwriter.
