New Knockout Gospel recording artist, Willie Norwood, bring his southern charm to a 12-song a cappella gospel interpretation of "old church" favorites. Hailing from the Mississoppi Delta, Willie has been a professional musician/singer since age 14 years old. He has amassed great experiences over many years of singing and playing music all over the world. The word acappella means "in church style". He taught this style to an award-winning children's choir as well as church choirs in his 10-year tenure as Minister of Music at a Los Angeles church. His choirs have been featured on The Stellar Awards, Mc Donald Gospelfest, Quincy Jones, "Q's Jook Joint" and Janet Jackson's "Velvet Rope". He is married to his beautiful wife Sonja and is the father of superstar Brandy and Ray J. He got them started in singing and is presently their vocal consultant.
