This focused simplicity accentuates Blegvad's quirky imagery and frank confessions in a way the songs on Downtime didn't quite accomplish. "Not Weak Enough," a highlight of that previous album, appears in a new recorded version here. Musical minions include former Stamey bandmate Peter Holsapple, XTC frontman Andy Partridge, Golden Palominos leader Anton Fier, and occasional Golden Palominos chanteuse Syd Straw.
