简介
This album showcases her affinity for exploring repertoire that strays from the jazz standards, like the title track by Baroque composer Henry Purcell, a song by the alternative rock band The Cure, and a Bengali folk song. Liner notes: "In this album are glimpses of some of the musical adventures that have shaped me into who I am today. Singing nursery rhymes into the tape recorder. Performing Bengali songs at Durga Puja. Listening to alternative rock. Studying classical music. And ultimately finding my voice through jazz. I hope you enjoy these songs that retrace the steps of my on-going journey."
