On September 11, 2001...... Terrorists attacked our great nation and took thousands of lives from us, installing fear in the hearts of millions of Americans who could do nothing but stand by and watch as our country was changed forever. This song, written the day after the attack, was very special to me being a former Marine and 14 year military veteran. The song was played worldwide and helped to heal our nation, and still remains one of the top 9/11 songs played on the radio today around the anniversary of the attack each year. I hope and pray that if you lost a loved one or were affected by the attack, that this song brings some peace and tranquility into your life. If you are a friend or family member of any of those who perished, I wish to extend to you my deepest sympathy for your loss and I pray that time will eventually heal your inner wounds caused by the cowards who had no backbone to face us on the battlefield and took their own lives for a cause that meant absolutely nothing. Stay strong and keep the memories of your loved ones near to your heart, as you will undoubtedly see them again one day in a much better place. God bless you, Austin Young
