Amanda's music is theatrical electronica and the new album 'Disco Disconnected' is something Amanda calls ‘a post modern discoteque experience’ The new album will feature 10 tracks, produced by local and overseas producers and partly recorded in ‘Day Dream Studios’ in Leichhardt. The first half of the album will feature 5 original electronic pop and trip-hop tunes while the second will feature dance remixes of the same tunes, with each song mixed into the next in true 70’s dancefloor fashion. ‘Disco Disconnected’ is Easton’s fourth commercial release. In 2013 she launched EP 'Out of the Blue', with two pop albums before that. She has achieved Top 10 positions in the Australian independent (AIR) music charts with two of her self-penned singles and airplay on Nova fm, Rage and MTV. As well as making a living as a session singer and performing in multiple shows, Amanda has toured extensively as a backing singer with multi-platinum artists including Wendy Matthews and Richard Clapton. She has also performed with iconic Australian artists including Powderfinger (2000 ARIAs), Marcia Hines and James Reyne in concerts and television appearances. She was nominated for a Mo Award in 2015. Amanda produced and hosted her own 13 Episode live music TV series in 2010 called 'PopTarts' which ran on TVS in Sydney and Channel 31 in Melbourne, showcasing female singer-songwriters. The TV series came out of 10 years of live showcase events of the same name that Amanda ran in Sydney. She has also collaborated with many DJs and has digital and vinyl releases globally.
