Next up on Kuukou is a singular slice of Techno from Hungarian producer Daniel Weirdo and Animarum Recordings head honcho Patrick Scuro. Together, the pair sought to make a piece of club music that flexes the outer edges of partitioned sub-genres; a track that transcends the ordinary in combing classical elements and Techno. No small task! But one that's adroitly handled. 'Demon Behind The Piano' begins with the fierce momentum of a battle march before a beautiful contrast begins to bleed through the track. A mollifying piano line and a soft, heart-wrenching vocal work in harmonious opposition to the brash, heavy drums while tight percussive fills maintain a snappy, magnetic groove. The breakdown opens out wide allowing the piano to flower. Here, Baroque tones take the limelight while the kick continues to hammer to the conclusion of a track that is guaranteed to make a mark in the mind of all who hear it on the dance floor.
