On “Mine” Khanyisile Qha embraced love and gives a sense of belonging to the imaginary partner character. With Jeffrey’s Son playing the imaginary partner, he reconnects his vocals to Khanyisile Qha’s lyrics to match the conversational vibe in the tune. “So tell me do you love me up and down. Baby rock with me now, forever will be yours, you’re mine” Khanyisile Qha’s request for re-assurance while giving reassurance in a world where true love is rare and almost forgotten. While Jeffrey’s Son returns with “Baby it’s bad! baby it’s bad! I wish that you would understand, if I could, I would, I promise I would give it to all to you” suggesting that Jeffrey’s Son is finding it hard to commit.
