Defacto was an album in the making for quite awhile. The songs we recorded and re-recorded several times with the band never being really happy with any of the early efforts. Fall of 2015 began and the band found themselves in a position to go for broke and really pursue finishing this collection of songs. Unfortunately, life kept pushing against the band and things again slowed to a trickle as weeks and months went by. With resolve, the band kept finding ways to keep moving forward inch by inch recording whenever they could possibly find moments of spare time to dedicate to the studio. In April the band finally finished all tracking. Although, it took over a year to finish the album, it moves at incredible speed as it pulls you into songs inviting you to sing along. The lyrics are honest and are full of questions, doubts, failures and ultimately victories.
