"Smiles I will give - Always to you - And lie about these tears - Where everything falls through" When I started out, I was more certain of the things I knew, and knew more than I had learned. Now, I know far less and find myself only drifting into madness. I often feel like a complexity of simple matters, seeing that the mystery of the universe is no more quizzical or important than that of what to make for supper. I'm a creator, salvage'r, re-purpose'r, and many other things within that range. My music follows those guide lines, but I disagree with the act of being called a musician. Music isn't my life - only a part of it. There could be no fair understanding about my music without understanding my balancing of thresholds. I have an unyielding drive to create upon the ruins of the broken things having considered all things to be yet discovered as perfectly imperfect. With this being defined as my approach to everything I do, it should be no surprise that I create music in the same manner. Most of my life is accidentally beautiful - as it usually is if we take the moment to recognize it as such. Recently, I've finished recording - and now editing and mastering - my fourth and one half album, that is dually titled, I Don't Want to Come Down / A:432. Over the next year I'll be touring hard with this album to share it, but mostly as a disguise to see the rest of the country. Kidding. Or not. I'm also hoping to give away a few more guitars (KnottyWoodGuitars) this year, but we'll see what time I have left to build them.
