简介

Thumping beats and ultra fat basslines capture you immediately with a theme of one of valor, honour and victory in this up-tempo energetic track by Julian van Sonck & EyeDee, the former relatively new to the Trance scene but a veteran in house and electro productions, and the latter, a veteran DJ and new comer to the production scene but not without knowledge of what the Trance scene of today wants to hear! Coupled together, the duo's experience in both the elements of production and composition stand out while the fat bass, military theme and catchy hook along with vocal chops hypnotize as you groove to the beats and bass! Two original mixes take tracks 01 and 02. A vox version and 'radio-silence' version add some fun and variety and is surely an interesting take, spicing up the mix for those looking for something with attitude! Red Sky takes a more uplifting and deeper approach using less sampling and more melody and build with less low end focus to enhance the beautiful soundscapes and melody in his remix, adding a different flavour to the track while maintaining its theme. A quality remix by a true artist! Atragun does in contrast to Red Sky, an almost opposite alternate version with an even fatter but more tech inspired bassline, widening it and giving more force and thump, overlayed by a minimalist top end, electronic style and complete with a new set of vocal samplings that retain an element of clandestine operations... Arrakeen has a go at a very experimental genre-crossing mix, borrowing 'acid 303' bassline samples from fellow producer and newcomer Whizz Zoe, he does some mixing trickery adding layer upon layer of bass while keeping the mix smooth with an 18th century to 21st century soundscape in a style that's uplifting yet progressive, tech and a little psytrance with massive euphoric feel and even Orchestral bits!... It's an experimental mix but planned and executed perfectly, with a clear strategy in line with the 'war-gamed' theme kept in check. You'll hear ethnic instruments and classical acoustic tremolo violins in a semi orchestral break with strums and finger plucking licks, progressive yet hard tech beats and electronic synthesis during the buildup and an undeniably powerful uplifting drop and peak with a solo haunting viola taking the assault of beats head on, making this a genre hard to define specifically! Live, Play, Fight Win is one unique release that won't disappoint! A Medal of Honour has been awarded!
