Rebecca Jasso's solo folk debut EP, Magic, is a beautiful dreamscape set in the autumn. Replete with vivid imagery, the lyrics will insert you into the scenes of Jasso's imagination. As you are lulled into this world by her fingerstyle playing, her moody harmonic voices in the song Magic weave in and out of your consciousness and carry you away. Though many singer/songwriters add a full backing band to their albums, Jasso chooses instead to keep it simple and stripped, with decorative electric guitar sprinkled into the the songs The Sun the Storm and How must I feel, with It's Lovely kept at it's very simplest: just solo vocals and guitar.
