Shelton is more than an American Country singer/songwriter living a life in Brazil. She is also probably the only country music singer in Brazil who incorporates a Celtic singing style in her voice at times singing in Gaelic, the ancient language of the Celts. Shelton’s arrangements include Scottish Bagpipes, Brazilian Sertanejo style accordion playing and Irish style fiddle playing in her music.

After living in Scotland, Holland, Ireland, Canada, The United States and now Brazil; Shelton’s music has been influenced by the people and the traditions that she has encountered in her life.

Shelton é uma cantora country norte-americana que há dez anos tem se apresentado internacionalmente. Ela tem o controle e qualidade vocais soberbos que se esperariam de alguém com anos de contínuo aprimoramento vocal bem como orientação clássica na East Carolina University, onde graduou-se em Educação Musical. Seu talento lhe rendeu uma nominação CAMMY como melhor artista nova da Beach Music, em 2004, ocasião do lançamento de seu CD “Not that Girl”. Seu estilo tem influência de artistas de rock e country, tais como KT Tunstall, Stevie Nicks, The Corrs, Allison Kraus, Shania Twain and Sheryl Crow.
