First came the lyrics and then came the sound. 10 years ago I stopped listening to music. What I heard no longer intrigued me, I no longer felt the soul. All I saw was music produced to earn money. It disgusted me. Art to me is about intention, and good art is created with the intention to communicate, inspire, unite and stimulate. Music is in the unfortunate position where it might be considered the most powerful art form, in that it seems to have a direct access to the human spirit. Which I think has made it a prime target for the greedy who solely wish to make a profit and the self indulgent who only desire fame. I don't consider myself to have musical talent in the traditional sense, but I have a lot to give and I found myself writing lyrics nonstop, more than enough to experiment with BX and relese the album 'Enslaved by Freedom'.
