The idea behind Tinderbox is a simple one: "It all started from a collection of songs that we enjoyed writing and playing and wanted to share with others," explains co-founding member Anthony Galatis. In fact, the writers behind Tinderbox, Mark Frisch, (lead vocals & guitar) & Anthony Galatis (keyboards), have had success penning Top 5 smash hits for various artists in Europe and further afield. Each song on their debut seven-track EP entitled ".mu" shares a common thread: soaring melodies and impassioned lyrics with emphatic, radio-friendly choruses that wrap themselves around the listener's mind and stay there long after the song ends. "We've always believed that choruses should be unmistakable and take the song to a new level." So what are the pans for Tinderbox? "We want to reach as many people as possible with our music and produce songs that we can all relate to - songs which resonate within our daily lives and relationships. And for the first time, technology, the internet in particular, is making it possible for bands like us to reach our fans directly and for the fans themselves to play an integral part in building a worldwide following."
