The Divided hail from the farmlands of Kent, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest of the United States of America. It is here that best friends Eli, Ryan, and Spencer decided to start a band. They soon met Madison and began covering popular alt-rock songs for the better part of a year. Then they made the switch to focusing on original songs after hearing Madison's original, "Maybe". Now all band members write and contribute. The Divided are influenced by a wide array of artists and bands, from Audioslave to Metric, from the Foo Fighters to Dave Matthews Band. Their goal is to write honest, real and catchy songs that people not only will relate to, but also remember.

Their debut EP "Mixd Feelings" is the result of a year of rehearsing and writing through a giant roller coaster of personnel shifts. The result is a 6 song musical sojourn that will take you to the good times, bad times, and weird times all in less than a half hour.
